At New Beginnings Counseling we provide individual, couples and family therapy. We are available for consultations and speaking engagements. We work with adults, college-age and adolescents; males and females.

Relationship Counseling and Concerns
Consultation: A meeting with a therapist regarding the client’s concerns, discussion of treatment options and recommendations. It is an opportunity to meet the therapist and talk about her philosophy and techniques for the purpose deciding about further counseling. Consultations are 35-40 minutes in length. Consultations are free of charge.
Individual Therapy: Individual therapy is one-on-one counseling with a therapist to identify and discuss client’s concerns and accompanying feelings and beliefs. We also discuss behaviors that perpetuate the issues. Together the client and therapist develop goals and actions to bring about change. Each session is 50-60 minutes.
Marital/Couples Counseling: Couples meet with the therapist to identify problem areas, set goals and develop tools to improve communication, solve problems and work through emotions and conflict. Occasionally each partner will meet with the therapist individually. Each session is 50-60 minutes in length.
Family Therapy: Family therapy emphasizes defining the issues within the family and developing communication skills between family members. Each session is 50-60 minutes in length.
Speaking Engagements: Therapists from New Beginnings Counseling are available for speaking engagements regarding eating disorders, self-esteem topics as well as other mental health issues. Call 330-666-5004 for topics and availability of speakers.
Payment of Services: The majority of health insurance plans cover mental health treatment. New Beginnings Counseling is covered by several major insurance companies. If you are covered one of these plans you are responsible for all deductibles and co-pays. If you are not covered by one of these plans you are responsible for the fee and all communication with your insurance company. You will receive a receipt detailing each counseling session. This receipt contains all the information needed by your insurance company for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check and credit cards.
